Hello, This Monkey World, to be more precise.
I've spent a lot of time going back and forth on the idea of having one of these thingies. None of the titles I wanted ever worked out. But the ponders, rants, raves, and ideas keep coming up and they all fit better in a blog than anywhere else. Blogs are on their way out. And, even if they weren't, Prince has declared the internet "over". It seems like the perfect time to start a blog, then, don't you think?
So, why "This Monkey World"? Because we live in one. We're essentially monkeys (okay, we're really simians, but that's pretty danged close). We do monkey things. Make monkey decisions. Play monkey games. So, that's what I'm doing: highlighting our monkey world. All the conflict and fun, all the poo-flinging and vine-swinging.
Welcome, fellow monkeys. May your bananas be plentiful and marauding troupes few!
